What this is
Bristol Kitchen Fitters HQ is an independent directory covering 94 kitchen fitters working across Bristol. It exists for homeowners who want a straight comparison of local fitters before they pick up the phone: who’s active, what recent customers are saying, and how each business stacks up against the others on record.
We’re also upfront about the other half of what we do. Bristol Kitchen Fitters HQ is an independent directory and comparison resource, and we generate enquiries for local providers too: when you ask to be matched, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for doing so. That fee never touches the rankings. A business doesn’t rank higher because it takes our enquiries, and it can’t buy its way up the list.
Where the data comes from
Every listing is built from public business information plus a synthesis of recent Google reviews: patterns in what customers mention, how consistent the feedback is, how the business responds over time. We don’t republish review text. If you want to read the original reviews, we link out to the business’s Google listing so you can see them straight from the source.
How rankings work
Ranking position comes from a published rubric applied to that data, nothing else. You can read exactly what’s scored and how at /methodology/. Two things follow from that: first, a business can contact us to correct factual errors in its own listing, things like an address, phone number, or trading hours. Second, no business can edit its own score, its sentiment reading, or its position in the ranking. That stays on our side, calculated the same way for everyone.
Sponsorship, when it appears
Some pages carry a listing marked “Sponsored”. It’s shown in its own clearly labelled slot, kept apart from the earned ranking, and it never changes where a business sits in that ranking. Paying for visibility and earning a ranking position are two separate things on this site, and we keep them that way on purpose.
